More curtido, please.

Before quarantine began, one of the last places I visited was Jaraguá. We went there to have breakfast and celebrate my mom and brother's birthday. Pupusas just have this special place in our lives. Despite being able to make them at home, we always go to a pupuseria for celebrations. You name it and we're there! Jaraguá is a beautiful restaurant with a family vibe and the food is amazing! I always order pupusas de masa de arroz stuffed with frijoles. You can never go wrong with a side of plátano frito and my favorite drink, una ensalada. Amiga, they even have atol de elote y chilate. Ayyy no, there goes la dieta. They also serve up a delicious breakfast plate with casamiento and plátano frito that is to die for. If you are ever in town, check them out. What other places in Los Angeles do you recommend we try? #morecurtidoplease

  • OMG that’s one of the many pupuseria I enjoy going to. It has an upscale feeling for a pupuseria. As for myself one of my favorite location in my neighbor is Cojutepeque ( 2514 E Gage Ave, Huntington Park, CA 90255) and it has the hole in the wall feeling.
